Don't know where this photo is from, but I wish I had some of those 'Bullshit Protectors.' Washington D.C. would be a very quite place it they actually worked.

Even though I find this cartoon funny, all I can to is laugh when I think that those politicians in D.C. are wasting time going over something they decided in in 2007. Damn Government is right!

Although I believe it could be a donkey in the picture along with the elephant. IMHO, those folks in D.C. really don't care about anything other than the next news cycle and their coffers for their next election. I just don't believe the future of the U.S. of A. really doesn't matter to them anymore. D.C. is just one big cluster fuck anymore.

I believe this is not just a GOP thought. IMHO, all the elected in D.C. really care about are those that fill their coffers, to hell with the rest of the American public.

It's Groundhog Day again, at least insofar as Patriot Act reform is concerned. Despite repeated promises, federal lawmakers are again punting on revising the controversial spy act adopted in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. Congress is set to extend three expiring controversial Patriot Act spy provisions for four years. They were set to expire at month's end.
