Since this happens in downtown Denver, I actually take the day off and ride down for all the festivities.
Well, now that it is May here in Colorado, we are getting a nice spring snow storm. Lets see, Sunday it was 77, Monday it was 77, yesterday it was 67 and today --
Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 32. Breezy, with a north northeast wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
I had the snow bike all put away and was ready for some nice spring riding. Instead, riding in the snow again. Hey, at least it's better than a cold rainy day. I really don't like those.
Should be nice here for a couple days, then ... snow? Crazy spring weather here in Denver.
What a gorgeous day here in Denver. Spring has finally say goodbye to the snow and we have 60's & 70's for the foreseeable future. Took Cherry Creek downtown this afternoon and everyone and his brother was out and about. The bike path was packed. Looking forward to grub in Old Highlands, a good nights rest and a nice long ride tomorrow.

Man, what a beautiful day here in Denver, Sunny and 68.
And I have to say, the scenery was awesome! ( hee, hee, hee)

The auto firm says vehicles fitted with the system will be able to detect threats including a cyclist suddenly swerving out into a car's path.
Read on ...
Next they will need to come up with a system for when a car suddenly swerves into a bicyclists path.
Not that these Pearl Izumi's don't still pull their weight,
but Petey is ready for new ones.
With close to 10 years and 25,000 miles, those Pearl Izumi's up top have set a high bar for the new ones.
We'll check back in another ten years and see how the new ones are doing.

It was strange riding to work with the new shoes this AM. Hell, even walking in them is so different.
